Where has this year gone?? It's October already... Eeek!
Well, I haven't been feeling the best the last couple weeks, so I'm sorry for the lack of posts over here. I thought I knew what it was, but doc said no, leaving me completely confused. I won't bore you with the details, but I'm doing mostly better now, just really tired still. (Or maybe I'm just back to normal mom tiredness. I don't know... lol)
Anyway, there are some exciting things happening in October with SU!
In case you haven't heard, this year is Stampin' Up!'s 25th anniversary! This month, hostesses can get $25 extra hostess dollars!
And, for 2 weeks only, you can join for only $25!! Lowest price ever!
October 7th - 21st only.
You will get a business pack (catalogs, forms, Getting Started DVD, etc, etc.), and you can choose product up to $26.95
The October "Best of" set is here: "Best of Christmas"
That's right; it's time to start thinking about Christmas again. Lucky for you, as part of our 25-year Anniversary celebration we've brought back three of our favorite images from Christmas past, and created a never-before-seen image that coordinates perfectly with the Christmas Ornament Punch.
Don't forget that the Christmas Ornament Punch is also available at a discount in a bundle with the Christmas Collectibles stamp set! (Wood-mount bundle / Clear-mount bundle) Have I mentioned that I love matching stamps and punches?? ;)
I don't think I've mentioned it here on the blog, but each month of this year, SU! has been featuring a special set with some favorite stamp images from the past. Click here to see them all. More about these special sets:
While we are releasing just one Best of stamp set per month, all of the Best of sets will be available until March 31, 2014.
We're including a collector's card and 25-year proof of purchase sticker with every Best of set. Collect six stickers, and send it in to redeem a FREE set of your choice valued up to $14.95! Free sets must be redeemed no later than April 30, 2014.
October is also my 9-year anniversary with Stampin' Up! Maybe I will have to do my own special... hmm. I'll get back to you on that :)
In other October News, the twins will be going to their NICU reunion in a couple weeks at the hospital where they were born. They do it every other year there. They have a petting zoo and games for the kids. They have an ambulance and fire truck. And they also have an isolette so they can see what their first "home" was like. This year it is a Western theme. (It seems like everything is a western theme this year! The kids spring musical at church, VBS, Family Fun night at their school tonight... feels like I'm forgetting something else) Anyway, the best part is that they get to see so many of the amazing nurses, doctors, therapists, and other staff who helped save their lives. I think the boys are old enough this year to appreciate and understand more of why we are there.
Well, time to get this day started!
Happy Stamping! :)
