Recruiting Promotion Update
We've heard of some recent happenings in the crafting industry that may leave some people looking for a new business opportunity, and so we are extending the Join for $25 recruiting promotion for one day. It will now end on Tuesday, October 22, at 11:50 pm (MT).
Competitive Activities Policy Update
Along with the extension, we're allowing a limited exception to the Competitive Activities Policy for people interested in becoming a demonstrator; anyone who currently is involved in a directly competitive business who signs up between October 21-November 30, 2013 will not need to resign from their former business prior to signing up with Stampin' Up! They will have until December 1, 2013 to decide which company they will represent and by that time will need to resign from one or the other.

For those who are on the fence, let me answer a few questions.
Q: What do I get for the $25?
A: You can choose $26.95 worth of product, plus you will get business supplies. And our starter kits always include free shipping! Here are some suggested items ranging from $25.95 to $26.95. Plus, you get all the fantastic benefits of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!
While there is not a lot in the $25 kit compared to the full kit, all new demonstrators get a 30% discount (instant income) on your first order. So instead of spending $99 on the full kit, where the $99 doesn’t go towards your quarterly minimum, you spend the $25 and then you can place an order or hold your first party/open house with your friends and family and earn the hostess benefits for yourself!
Q: What am I required to do after I get my kit?
A: Well, nothing really... unless you want to remain active enjoying demonstrator perks, discounts, and other opportunities. There is no obligation to continue for any certain amount of time or sales.
Q: Do I have to hold parties? I'd really rather just do this as a hobby and get the discount.
A: Nope! You are not required to hold parties or recruit people, and you don't need to keep an inventory of products!
Q: What happens if I can't reach the $300 minimum in a quarter?
A: Following the quarter where you didn't reach the minimum, you will have a month to make up the amount you were short. So, say you had $200 in sales during the quarter, you could make up the extra $100 during your "pending" month.
Q: What do you have to lose?
A: $25...??? Not really, because you get $26.95 worth of product with free shipping. There is no obligation, no catch.
