October Happenings

Where has this year gone?? It's October already... Eeek!

Well, I haven't been feeling the best the last couple weeks, so I'm sorry for the lack of posts over here. I thought I knew what it was, but doc said no, leaving me completely confused. I won't bore you with the details, but I'm doing mostly better now, just really tired still. (Or maybe I'm just back to normal mom tiredness. I don't know... lol)

Anyway, there are some exciting things happening in October with SU!

Family Corner:

In other October News, the twins will be going to their NICU reunion in a couple weeks at the hospital where they were born. They do it every other year there. They have a petting zoo and games for the kids. They have an ambulance and fire truck. And they also have an isolette so they can see what their first "home" was like. This year it is a Western theme. (It seems like everything is a western theme this year! The kids spring musical at church, VBS, Family Fun night at their school tonight... feels like I'm forgetting something else) Anyway, the best part is that they get to see so many of the amazing nurses, doctors, therapists, and other staff who helped save their lives. I think the boys are old enough this year to appreciate and understand more of why we are there.
